- Jens Nielsen was a "F?stebonde G?rdmand" (copyhold farmer) who lived in Sk?rpinge, Havnelev parish. He was married to Birthe Pedersdatter, and it was the first and only marriage for both of them. Birthe died in 1791 at 61 years of age, and Jens died a little over two years later at 70 years of age.
The 1787 informs us that Jens and Birthe are retired and living with their daughter, Bodil Jensdatter. While there is no absolute proof that Jens Nielsen of Sk?rpinge is the father of Anne Jensdatter, it is notable that he was a witness at both of Anne Jensdatter's marriages. Further, either Bodil or her husband, Peder S?rensen, are named as witnesses at the baptisms of six of Anne Jensdatter's nine children.
