- Prince Vladimir of Novgorod, also called Valedar. "V?re forfedre" by Mogens Bugge names him "Vladimir of Halicz" and his daughter as "Sophie of Halicz". It indicated that he died ca. 1144. "Die Nachkommen Karls des Grossen" by Erich Brandenburg names that Sophia's father as: Wolodar, Prince of Minsk in 1150 and by Gorcdez in 1158, who died after 1167. According to Mogens Bugge this may not be correct; he considers, and also the Danish sources, that her father was Vladimir (of Novgorod). However, it is agreed that her mother was Richiza of Poland.
