- It seems likely that J?rgen Nielsen (c.1637-1715), of Gelbjerg in Balslev parish, originally came from Barl?se parish. Henrich J?rgensen (c.1631-1693) of B?ring in Barl?se parish attended the baptisms of two of J?rgen Nielsen's children, in 1683 and 1689. This would seem to indicate a close family relationship. Possibly Henrich J?rgensen is the half brother of J?rgen Nielsen? In 1675 a "J?rgen Nielsen i Bering" attended the baptism of Henrich J?rgensen's daughter Mette.
Further, J?rgen Nielsen of Gelbjerg can be found listed as attending the baptisms of 2 the children of Johanne Nielsdatter and Hans Johansen of B?ring: in 1681 and 1691. It seems probable that Johanne Nielsdatter is the sister of J?rgen Nielsen. It also seems probable that Johanne Nielsdatter had a sister named Birgitte Nielsdatter who was married to Anders Johansen of Barl?se-T?rup - the brother of Johanne's husband Hans Johansen.
Henrich J?rgensen can be found attending the baptisms of 6 of Birgitte Nielsdatters children: in 1663, 1665, 1668, 1671, 1673, and 1681. Henrich J?rgensen can also be found attending the baptisms of 7 of Johanne Nielsdatters children: in 1669, 1676, 1677, 1681, 1685, 1687, and 1691. So it also seems likely that Henrich J?rgensen is related to Birgitte and Johanne Nielsdatter - possibly their half brother?
It seems probable that Henrich J?rgensen had a sister named Boel J?rgensdatter (died 1669), wife of Henrich Christensen (c.1619-1679) of Myllerup in Barl?se parish. Henrich J?rgensen can be found attending the baptisms of 4 of Boel J?rgensdatter's children: in 1662, 1664, 1665, and 1666. Boel's husband, Henrich Christensen, can be found attending the baptism of 4 of Henrich J?rgensen's children: in 1663, 1665, 1666, and 1675. A "Birgitte Nielsdatter i Ballestorp" attended the baptism of Boel's son Niels in 1662. Birgitte's husband Anders Johansen attended the baptisms of 2 of Boel's children: in 1665 and 1666.
