- Evidence that suggests a family relationship between the children of Jens Svendsen and Hans Ibsen can be found in the June 14, 1689, probate for Jens Hansen: "Dend yngste s?n Hans Jensen paa 3 aar, for hannem verger Michel Hansen i Smidegaarden i ?stermarie Sogn." Here we find Michel Hansen, of Smedeg?rd, 50 & 51 Slg. ?stermarie, the son of Hans Ibsen, acting as guardian for Jens Svendsen's grandson Hans Jensen.
In Bornholm's Jordeb?ger of 1623, 1625 and 1626 the taxpayer for Smedeg?rd, 50 & 51 Slg. ?stermarie, is a Michel Andersen; possibly the grandfather of the above Michel Hansen? Possibly Michel Andersen's wife's name is Margrethe?
According to the Jordeb?ger the previous resident of 50 Slg. ?stermarie in 1622 was an Anders Pedersen; who was the taxpayer for Sm?g?rd, 51 Slg. ?stermarie, (aka Sm? Smedeg?rds St?l) in 1611 - which in 1622 is shown to be "?de" (deserted). Apparently circa 1622 the two farms (Sm?g?rd, 50 Slg. and Smedeg?rd, 51 Slg.) were combined, thereafter known as Smedeg?rd, 50 & 51 Slg. ?stermarie.
The taxpayer for 50 Slg. ?stermarie in 1611 was a Jep Pedersen; possibly the brother of Anders Pedersen? According to Kure's farm-owner list, in 1598 a Peder Smed is listed as the resident of 50 Slg. ?stermarie - possibly their father?
The Jordeb?ger of 1651, 1658 and 1662 lists a Laurids Smed as the taxpayer for Smedeg?rd, 50 & 51 Slg. ?stermarie; possibly the son of Michel Andersen?
