- The first mention of J?rgen Goddike found was in the 1771 census of taxpayers in Havnelev parish, wherein his age is given as 60 years, and his occupation is given as "Inderste" (retired, literally: "living indoors"); his wife's age in given as 48 years, both in their first marriage. They are probably the parents of Hans J?rgensen Goddike and Maren J?rgensdatter Goddike; as both Maren and her husband Mads Jensen Haagen can be found mentioned as attending the baptisms of Hans J?rgensen Goddike's children. J?rgen might be the brother of Claus Goddike (c.1818-1809) of Lille Heddinge, in neighbouring Lille Heddinge parish. J?rgen died in Havnelev in 1778, his age is given as being 64 years old. No marriage record was found for his widow, nor was a burial record found; the parish register begins in 1772, so possibly she died between 1771 and 1772, or possibly she left the parish after the death of her husband.
